Virtual Training Given to Jakpreneurs in West Jakarta

West Jakarta Industry, Trade, Cooperative, and Small and Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM) Sub-agency provided online entrepreneur lessons for the Small Medium Industry (IKM) and Small Medium Entrepreneurs (UKM) who participated as Jakpreneurs.

We still train them virtually

West Jakarta PPKUKM Sub-agency Head, Nuraini Sylviana conveyed, since the implementation of Large-scale Social Restrictions (PSBB), her side gave virtual training for Jakpreneurs to comply with COVID-19 health protocols.

"We still train them virtually," she mentioned, Tuesday (6/9).

In this training, Jakpreneurs learned theory about business strategy, how to start a business, tips to run a business, and how to look for business opportunities. Besides, her side also train them to sew and make a cake.

"For theory lesson, we train around 10-15 people in each sub-district. While for practice lesson, we train 7-8 people in each sub-district," she explained.

Her side collaborated with universities, institutions, and private companies to train the participants.

"Our target is to produce 9,670 UKMs and 2,240 IKMs this year, from total 8 sub-districts in West Jakarta," she closed.
